Shanghai SGR Heavy Industry Machinery Co., Ltd was founded in 1996 and its predecessor is Shanghai Great Wall Reducer Co., Ltd located in Jiading District, Shanghai City, China.

With the New century coming, SGR is taking steps in technical support, producing machines including four shaft linkage inspection machines, etc.

After 11 years of vigorous development, in 2007, we moved to Jinshan industrial zone, Shanghai City, China. Till then, the company covered an area of 15000 m² of ground, and 10000 m² of building.

We started the export business of gearboxes, due to reliable quality and perfect after-sales services, the SGR brand was well-received by overseas customers, and our gear reducer products sold well in Southeast Asian, European, and American markets.

SGR branded planetary gear reducer has won the honor of the “Science and Technology Advancement Prize” awarded by the National Speed Reducer & Variator Industry Association in 2009.
