It is not as well-known as the planetary gear reducer, but it is widely used in lifting machinery, conveying systems, food processing, automation equipment and other fields because of its large reduction ratio, compact design, low noise and mechanical self-locking performance.

The characteristics of SGR's worm gear reducer are that the worm and the worm wheel are engaged with each other in a toroidal multi-tooth manner, and an elastic fluid dynamic pressure lubrication film is formed in the process of engagement, which has obvious advantages over the single-tooth engagement of other cylindrical worms.
Under the same center distance, the load-bearing capacity of the toroidal double enveloping worm reducer is increased by 2 to 4 times, the transmission efficiency is increased by more than 30%, and SGR’s worm gear reducer has mechanical self-locking performance under high speed ratio, which can effectively improve the safety performance of the machinery.

a. Strong load-bearing capacity: There are many teeth meshing at the same time, and most of the teeth on the worm gear tooth surface are in double-line contact, which increases the length of the contact line. The power transmitted by the toroidal worm pair is 2-3 times greater than that of the ordinary cylindrical worm pair with the same center distance.
b. Long service life: Double-line contact reduces the load per unit contact line length. Under the same conditions, the service life of the toroidal worm pair is 5-10 times that of the ordinary cylindrical worm pair.
c. High transmission efficiency: The contact line of the toroidal worm pair is distributed along the direction of the worm gear tooth height, and the angle with the relative motion speed is close to 90 degrees, which makes it easy to form a dynamic pressure oil film. The transmission efficiency of the toroidal worm pair is 5% to 10% higher than that of the ordinary cylindrical worm pair with the same transmission ratio.
