    What is a coaxial planetary gearbox?

    A coaxial planetary gearboxe is a specific type of planetary gearbox where the input and output shafts are aligned on the same axis of rotation.

    This design contrasts with other configurations like right-angle planetary gearboxes, where the input and output shafts are perpendicular to each other. The coaxial arrangement is achieved by placing the sun gear, planet gears, and ring gear in such a way that they all rotate around the same central axis.

     

    How does the coaxial planetary gearbox convert the torque?

    A coaxial planetary gearbox converts torque by using a sun gear, planet gears, and a ring gear. The input shaft drives the sun gear, which rotates the planet gears. These planet gears engage with both the sun gear and the stationary ring gear, amplifying torque as they rotate around the sun gear while also revolving on their own axes. The carrier holding the planet gears transfers this amplified torque to the output shaft. Preliminary preparation and component inspection

  1. Technical data preparation

Pretreatment before assembly

2. Pre-assembly and adjustment

Formal assembly process


1. Assembly of the housing and base
First, fix the base on the assembly platform, and then install the housing. 2. Shaft system assembly
