Starting from the appearance and sound is one of the simplest ways to judge the fault of the planetary gear reducer. After running for a period of time, you can observe whether the reducer has obvious damage, cracks, deformation and other external damage. If so, the reducer may have failed.

In addition, analyzing from the perspective of vibration is also one of the most commonly used methods to determine the fault of a planetary gear reducer. Generally speaking, if there are problems such as indentation and rust on the planetary gear reducer, it will affect the vibration of the planetary gear reducer. By using the vibration signal detection of the reducer, the vibration size and frequency information of the reducer can be observed.

Additionally, if the oil is found to be dark, thin, or contains foreign matter, there may be gear wear or other problems.
Check the bearings, gears, seals, loads and other components of the planetary gear reducers; including checking whether the bearings have abnormal noises, such as clicking and friction sounds, bearing temperature and lubrication conditions, etc.; check the wear and clearance of the gears, check the wear of the seals and whether there are any leaks; check whether the reducer performs normally under different load conditions, and whether there are any load fluctuations during operation.
